Developed under  the Clean, Affordable, and Secure Energy for Southeast Asia (CASE) regional programme, this report highlights the frames or narratives on coal and how they may relate to just energy transition in two coal-producing regions in Indonesia.

The report incorporates the findings from a workshop on how the regional government in Kalimantan can accelerate energy transition through implementing the regional energy plan. It outlines the narratives of the past and present, the narratives of the future, and how to shift towards just energy transition narratives.
