Mapping Just Transition in NDCs 3.0
A preview of trends and preliminary results for 66 countries
This preview presents some preliminary findings from the second global mapping of just transition in nationally determined contributions (NDCs), conducted by the International Labour Organization (ILO) in collaboration with the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and the NDC Partnership, which tracks progress and emerging trends in the integration of just transition and related considerations in NDCs.
The preview covers 66 NDCs submitted by 17 October 2025, with a focus on selected variables, and compares results with those in the earlier round of NDC submissions by the same countries. The full analysis covering all NDCs and the full set of variables will be released once all NDCs have been submitted.
