Energy Transition Policies in Southeast Asia and China: Scoping out the "just" aspect


While energy transition programmes for switching from fossil fuel sources to low-carbon sources are essential to reduce global warming, care must be taken to ease the disruptive impacts on workers and land.

With the support of large language models, this Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) report analyses the current state of energy transition policies in China and southeast Asia, and provides detailed policy recommendations on how to design more just energy transition programmes.
