Skills for the Just Transition: 3rd NICE network conference

The transition to a low-carbon economy is creating new opportunities for  small and medium-sized enterprises and large companies. However, the increasing demand for this transition has strained the ability of the labour market to access the skills and resources needed in this new social and economic landscape.

Hosted by Net Zero Industrial Cluster Exchange, this conference will explore the skills and training needs of industries in the low-carbon economy. Among the topics discussed will be challenges and opportunities in the labour market brought about by decarbonisation, with best practices for supporting the sustainability of new, developing, and large companies outlined.

Speakers will include representatives from European institutions, NICE partners from various countries/regions, and entrepreneurs who are leading the way in the low-carbon transition and in (re)skilling.
