Report Launch: Civil society guide to leveraging the OECD’s guidance on a just transition

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Business and Finance has released new guidance on applying the OECD Guidelines in the context of the low-carbon transition, helping clarify what responsible business conduct should look like in practice.

To support civil society organisations and communities in using this new paper strategically, OECD Watch has launched a new civil society guide that:

+ explains how the OECD paper fits within the wider responsible business conduct framework,
+ highlights key expectations for companies,
+ provides practical guidance for advocacy, corporate engagement, community action, and complaints to National Contact Points (NCPs).

Civil society organisations played an important role in shaping this work, and this guide is designed to help turn it into a practical advocacy tool. Join a multi-stakeholder discussion on how these new resources can help advance a just transition.
