Networking Forum: Women shaping the energy transition

As the global renewable energy job market is set to expand, with solar energy alone predicted to generate 18 million jobs by 2050, it is crucial to platform and promote women to bridge the skills gap. This event is designed to connect female professionals in the renewable energy and solar sectors, fostering meaningful exchanges and collaboration.

The event will provide a space for women to network, share expert knowledge on the latest industry innovations, and showcase their significant role in the energy transition. Activities include an expert fireside chat, speed networking, as well as opportunities for informal networking.

The event is organised on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) within the global initiative Women Energize Women by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and in cooperation with Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft (BSW-Solar) with supporting partners the Bundesverband Erneuerbare Energie (BEE) and Women in Solar+ Europe (WISEu).
