Just Transition Platform Conference

From October 23-25, the eighth edition of the Just Transition Platform (JTP) Conference will be organized by the European Committee of the Regions, and co-hosted by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) and the Directorate-General for Energy (DG ENER).

The Just Transition Platform (JTP) was established in 2020 with the aim to support stakeholders involved in just transition activities. Among others, regular events are organised to share best practice, knowledge and skills. The eighth edition of the JTP Conference will provide a forum for sharing views and experiences on just transition, focusing on the implementation process and taking stock of the achievements so far. Sessions will also focus on topics such as the role of universities, communication, and empowerment of vulnerable groups.
