Economic Transformation in Indonesia: Regional green development in East Kalimantan and the role of regional consultation forums
Organised by the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the Community of Practice (CoP) session aims to brings together just energy transition stakeholders to explore how coordinated, multi-level governance can support economic diversification away from coal — using East Kalimantan and its regional consultation forum as a case study.
The session will focus on strategies and support that help a coal-dependent province transform its economy, support its local businesses, attract green investment to build a diversified, resilient economy.
