CINTRAN Final Stakeholder Event

After 4 years of successful research implementation, Carbon Intensive Regions in Transition (CINTRAN) – Unravelling the Challenges of Structural Change will conclude in the spring of 2024.

To highlight, commemorate, and discuss its main outcomes and accomplishments, ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability Europe and Wuppertal Institute are convening for a Final Stakeholder Event, which will take place on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

The event will feature updated insights on the just transition process from the scientific community, practitioners, and policy experts, including reflections from coal+ regions. Interactive sessions and panel discussions will allow participants to address challenges and identify new practices in coal+ regions. The event will also assess European just transition progress, facilitate discussions for replicable solutions, and provide networking opportunities.
