Clean Energy Technologies in the EU: Implications for quality jobs, skills and a just transition

This event will bring together policymakers, industry representatives, social partners, researchers and civil society organisations to discuss how Europe can accelerate the clean energy transition while delivering quality jobs, addressing skills shortages, promoting equal opportunities and supporting regions and workers undergoing more profound restructuring.

The discussion will contribute to the EU’s evolving industrial transition agenda—spanning the Net Zero Industry Act (NZIA), the Clean Industrial Deal (CID), the Industrial Accelerator Act and AccelerateEU—as well as initiatives on skills and job quality.
