Fourth Dialogue Under the United Arab Emirates Just Transition Work Programme

The fourth dialogue under the United Arab Emirates Just Transition Work Programme (JTWP) will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on September 1-2, 2025. It follows the third dialogue, which took place in Panama on May 22-23.

The dialogue will provide space for participants to discuss experiences, policies, and approaches in relation to people-centric and equitable just transition pathways, with a focus on the whole-of-society approach and the workforce.

The focus theme will be on “just energy transition pathways and holistic approaches to just transitions including socioeconomic, workforce, social protection and other dimensions, based on nationally defined development priorities”.
